Good to know
The things local business owners ask me most, answered plainly. If yours isn't here, send it over — I'm a real person and I answer my own messages.
A community board is a clean dry-erase board, about the size of a poster, that lives inside a busy local business. Six local businesses get one spot each. I place boards in high-traffic Vermont locations — restaurants, cafes, and shops where people already show up week after week. Every board I have up and coming shows on the Boards page and on the Map.
One flat $600 for a full year. You get one of the six spots on a board, your ad designed and printed by me, and a year of daily exposure to that location's regulars. No monthly bill, no per-click charges, nothing added on later.
Your ad is 7.5" × 5" on a 24" × 36" board — roughly the size of a postcard, sitting in a neat grid alongside five other local businesses.
Yes, always. I design your ad and send it to you first. Nothing gets printed or placed until you say yes, and nothing changes after that without your sign-off.
The day the board is physically installed with your ad on it — not the day you pay. If a board is still being built or installed, your spot shows as sold and pending install, and your year hasn't started yet. You're never paying for time you aren't getting.
Then I find your ad a new home. I'll move it to a comparable board at no extra cost so you still get the rest of your year. If there's no board that fits, I'll prorate a refund for the time left. Either way, you're taken care of.
I email you a month before your year ends, and again a week before, with a simple link to renew. There's no auto-charge and no surprise — you only renew if you want to. If you do, your new year picks up right where the old one ended and your ad stays exactly where it is.
